An MOU is a memorandum of understanding, a junior legal document which sets out agreements between various interested parties. An MOU might be entered into e.g. between regional exchanges to cover the terms of cross-border listing.

GSE (formerly GASCI) and BSE wish to enter into a memorandum of co-operation to provide a mechanism for long term co-operation, to facilitate the development of channels of communication and foster a continuing relationship between the parties for the respective benefit of the financial services industry in Guyana and Barbados, to assist in the maintenance of orderly markets in securities in each state and facilitate the listing and cross-listing of securities in their respective markets.
